Lose Weight Fast - 3 Important Tips to Do it Safely & Naturally

Everyone wants to lose weight fast. And in finding the quickest way to lose weight, you may have tried or were tempted to try the latest fad diet, diet pills or whatever those late night infomercials may be throwing at you.
Some of these gimmicks may actually work and you may lose weight rapidly, but you have to know that losing weight too fast may be bad for your body. Instead, try to remember these 3 important tips to lose weight safely, naturally and permanently:
1) Change In Diet
Your diet is the most important aspect of losing weight. Try and reduce the amount of sugar, refined carbs and processed foods in your daily diet.
Foods high in sugar like soft drinks, candy bars, ice cream and chocolate are to be eliminated from your diet. Refined carbs will include foods like white rice, white bread and pasta should be avoided as they are easily converted into sugar and stored as fat.
Stick to eating natural, unprocessed foods like lean chicken breasts, fish, fruits and vegetables. Also, remember to drink plenty of water.
2) Do intense cardio
Note that your cardio workout has to be intense or you'll be wasting your time. A good way to do cardio in the most efficient and intense manner will be to do it HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) style.
This is when you do bursts of intense exercise followed by a recovery period. For example, if you're using a treadmill, after a 5 minute warm up, sprint for about a minute near 80 - 90% of an all our effort. Follow this with a slow jog or walk for about 2 minutes for your recovery period. This is considered one "set". Repeat this for about 5 to 6 sets.
After finishing all the sets, cool down for another 5 minutes. Your HIIT cardio should not take you more than 30 minutes each time and you should do this workout 3 to 4 times a week. HIIT is beneficial as the intensity of the workout boosts your metabolism sky high and causes you to burn calories even hours after your workouts.
3) Get some muscle!
Other than cardio, incorporate some resistance training into your workout program as well. Building lean muscle not only stream lines your body as it takes up less "space" than fat, but having muscle actually causes your resting metabolic rate to increase. This means that even at rest, you'll be burning more calories!
Most importantly, be patient and keep the above guidelines in mind. You didn't put on weight overnight so it will also take a while to lose it as well. But I'm sure you can do it!
